Blueprint Education offers middle and high school courses that are compatible in content to traditional schools in the United States. Students may take courses either to make up classes or to accelerate the educational process in order to graduate early. Each student learns at his or her own pace through an open-entry/open-exit system. DISTANCE LEARNING EDUCATION IS DIFFERENT FROM ATTENDING A TRADITIONAL SCHOOL. IT REQUIRES GREATER DEDICATION AND SELFDISCIPLINE ON THE PART OF THE STUDENT. Internet-Based CoursesOur Internet course program offers a technology-based method for taking classes. The student must have access to a computer meeting certain specifications; those specs are listed on our website. Each course grants 0.5 unit of credit, equivalent to one semester of classroom instruction. An Internet course consists of 1_ to 15 lessons, online lesson quizzes, exam reviews and tools for success. Online lesson quizzes are automatically graded. Some courses have writing assignments that are graded by the course facilitator. Some Internet courses require textbooks. Please check under course descriptions for details. Every course requires written, proctored midterm and final exams. Print-Based CoursesPrint-based courses allow students to take classes by mail.
