Literature, grammar and vocabulary are introduced on an integrated basis throughout the semester. Both the study of the structure of language and the study of literary selections are means to the end of achieving greater effectiveness in composition. The course will cover World Literature from Europe, Southeast Asia and the Pacific, South America and the Native American cultures.
